Great community support shown for Rotary
Charity Auction at Greenfield Music Festival
Once again, great community support was shown at the Rotary Charity Auction June 7, 2025 as bidders turned out to purchase a host of donated items to benefit the Rotary Club of Greenfield.
The Rotary Club of Greenfield Ohio wishes to express thanks to the print buyers who supported our Rotary Charity Auction on June 7. The 10 limited edition prints of the Shiloh Baptist Church were purchased by the following local businesses and individuals: (first row L-R): Joe Edgington; Lynn Stevens, Stevens Hardware; Mike and Linda Penn, Greenfield Research, Inc.; Stuart McNeil, RoofX Roofing Company; (second row L-R): Dana Daugherty, Southern Hills Community Bank; Josh McCoy, Adena Greenfield Medical Center; Heath Fettro, Murray-Fettro Funeral Home and Eric Zint (not shown) of Corner Healthmart Pharmacy; Blain Bergstrom, Merchants National Bank; Kelley McNeil and Sandy Olaker, Community Savings Bank; Jennifer Kennedy and Deanna Hike, Sitterle Insurance.
Thanks also to Pat and Elaine Hays, who own the auction site, Hays Court, to auctioneers Gary Binegar and Rod Halterman, the festival queens and court for their assistance, to local artist Tammy Wells for creating the prints and Helen Roe for framing the prints. The Rotary club is grateful to everyone who supported the auction by donating items, purchasing items, helping to set up, etc.
Total receipts for the auction came to $18,382.50 to benefit community projects, with $10,800 of that total coming from the prints created by Tammy Wells.
Club President Dana Daugherty expressed thanks to the businesses, groups and individuals who supported the auction. "We are grateful for the continued support of the community that has allowed us to serve Greenfield for more than a century (the club was founded in 1922). Our club wants to continue serving Greenfield for many years to come."

Greenfield Music Festival scheduled first weekend of June
The Greenfield Music Festival took place in June 2023 and has become a much anticipated celebration of music, culture, and community.
According to the sponsoring organization, the festival brings together a diverse array of artists, performers, and music enthusiasts from all over Ohio and the world for an unforgettable experience.
The Greenfield Rotary Club helps support the Greenfield Music Festival and puts on its annual Charity Auction during the weekend at Hays Court, located in downtown Greenfield.
